We’re still not entirely sure just when the PvP sandbox MMOProfane will enter into its next major (and more open) phase of development beyond the testing it engaged last month. That said, those who are currently within that test have a bunch of updates and additions to look forward to in the next couple of monthsaccording to a roadmap posted in Discord.
While the roadmap doesn’t dig into the gritty details, it does promise things like smoother combat animations, skills, and interactions for a more impactful fighting experience; the ability to see neighboring islands on the horizon; random Moonshard Meteors that can crash into an island, bringing new mysteries and secrets for players to uncover (and very likely fight over); and the return of Con Rit, a world boss from the game’s pre-alpha days.
Unfortunately, there are no hard timelines for these features yet beyond the projected two month arrival window, so those who are kicking this gankbox’s tires will just have to wait for more information within the Discord. Either way, the testing continues to grind along.
