It looks as if Capcom is readying itself to hype up the Ascendance expansion that’s arriving next year for multiplayer RPGMonster Hunter Wilds, as the developer has provided a couple of newpreviewvideos that focus on the boost bracer and the mechanics it brings to the game.
In the first video, fans get a general overview of how the boost bracer works: Players can engage boost mid-fight to temporarily enhance moves, utilize new combos, or even improve their ability to guard against monster attacks that would otherwise be dangerous to attempt. The boost bracer can also be switched on in the middle of regular attacks to change how they operate.
The second video goes into a bit more specific detail about the greatsword weapon, with a preview of several of the weapon’s boosted attacks and a look at the boost bracer’s UI as well. It’s likely that more such videos for each of the game’s 18 different weapons are set to go live daily, but for now the two that went online can be viewed below.
