Soulframe breaks down the process of breaking down weapons for Tempers

On the voy.

Prelude 16 forSoulframe wants you to not lose your Tempers. You need those Tempers, in fact. Every weapon has Tempers, and collecting Tempers is a core part of the gameplay loop, as previewed in the newest entry about the Temper system. Whenever you dismantle a weapon, you make progress toward learning the Tempers on that weapon permanently, with each Temper requiring 30 points to learn. Amped Tempers make the process twice as fast, to boot.

Once you’ve learned a Temper, you can stop to see Tuvalkane (so long as Tuvalkane is Rank 3) and bring a level 30 weapon to strike a temper onto one of the weapon’s existing slots. That means more control over the stats of your weapons and the abilities you wield, although obviously the resource cost will affect what you can strike and when. And since there are six new Tempers that are added with the newest Prelude, you’ll have even more options for making your armaments as lethal as you’d like.
