No Mans Sky Cosmos lets players control space stations, join a guild, build in space, and fly into the sun

Have you ever dreamed of yeeting yourself into a sun inNo Man’s Sky? Thanks to thenewly released Cosmos update, you absolutely have the option to do so, though we might suggest that you check out all of the other things that you can do in the sprawling sci-fi survivalbox first. Especially since this 10th anniversary update has brought a massive amount of features.

Players can continue to make their mark in the galaxy with the ability to be the director of their own space station, customizing it with rooms and features as they see fit, or by building a free-floating base out in the void with the new deep-space base computer. Space exploration has been further enhanced with the chance to find volatile derelict hulks to loot, rare space resources at new POIs, alien outposts (some of which are infested), new lucrative and possibly dangerous asteroid belts, and new anomalies.

On the multiplayer side of things, players can now form guilds (aka alliances) as a space station director, letting players band together to expand their alliance’s influence and even climb a leaderboard. There’s also a 10th anniversary expedition called Our Journey Continues, with celebratory goodies like commemorative in-game wall art, a diplodocus companion, and a vintage multi-tool and spaceship.

These are just some of the major highlights, but there is a lot more, including tractor beams for corvettes, outer space rock formations that can be built on, the ability for any character to EVA from their ship, new outpost missions, improved visuals, and as mentioned earlier, the option to fly into a star, which is ultimately lethal to your character. Basically there is so much happening in this sandbox once again.
