During the Opening Night Live show that Kicked off Gamescom earlier this afternoon, Grinding Gear Games dropped a big announcement for fans of Path of Exile 2: The multiplayer OARPG will finally leave early access for the wilds of launch on December 11th. For those counting along at home, that means it’ll have stayed in early access two years. When it launches, it’ll be story-complete and free-to-play.
According to the accompanying details, the Duelist will arrive alongside the launch.
“Raised as an orphan in the slums, the Duelist trained relentlessly for a place in the Grand Arena, where he sought vengeance. Forced to flee during the Fall of Oriath, he now fights on behalf of those unable to defend themselves. GGG is encouraging players to register for “exclusive” community rewards like effects and a minipet.
