Surely you have 50 seconds of time to ogle things that are coming toGuild Wars 2, right? It’s not that much time, it’s all a preview peek and not a deep-dive, and it’s even in a screen ratio that doesn’t force you to watch on a mobile device. It’s a perfect sample platter! Assuming you care about raids or convergence instances in the MMO, anyway.
That’s right, the Code of Creation update that’swrapping up Visions of Eternity on September 15th is bringing a new raid and some new rewards from convergences, and this little vignette showcases both. There’s a fight against something made of stars and constellations. There are weapons that look all spiny and effusive with necrotic energy. And apparently player characters can transform into giant Asura for some horrible reason.
We expect that there will be some more such previews offered by ArenaNet in the days leading up to this next content patch, but for now the offered footage can be watched below. We all have to do something with our eyeballs while we sit and wait to find out what this fourth species in the pre-sequel is all about, so why not?
