Nintendo announced Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass DLC via Nintendo Today with a new trailer exclusive to the mobile app. This comes after the ESRB rating already noted that “in-game purchases” would be a part of the title. There will be three waves of add-ons. The third wave will be the one that consists of additional characters and storylines based on the additional rival lords Anatolia, Bertrand, Orchel, and Talimun. Wave 1 is out today, wave 2 shows up in Holiday 2026, and wave 3 debuts in 2027.
Wave 1 of the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass is the Four Weapons DLC. This will feature Prototype Weapons based on the four heroes’ relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. So replicas of Byleth’s Sword of the Creator, Dimitri’s Areadbhar spear (Prototype VII), Claude’s Failnaught (Prototype XI), and what might be Freikugel (Prototype V) seem to appear. Wave 2 will be New Outfits and Godly Aid. That consists of costumes for Cai, Dietrich, Leda, and Theodora that also change their hairstyles. Allies can wear that too. Aurora, Jurah, and Smyrnos will show up as allies with that launch. Finally, Wave 3 will consist the four Flame Lord rival characters Anatolia, Bertrand, Orchel, and Talimun. New allies and classes will be part of that third drop.
