Tabula Rasa rogue server project Infinite Rasa confirms that it has a functioning development server

It's clear now.

It’s been just over five years since we had heard anything about the progress ofInfinite Rasa, the rogue server project that’s attempting to bring the sci-fi MMORPGTabula Rasa back online, but then that’s to be expected since the fan developers on the project did say that the game was “a ways off.” We’d say that length of time would fall within that guesstimate, and so we’re back to check in on the revival attempt and can report some pretty positive news.

According toa progress report shared last week,Infinite Rasa has a development server functioning, running in MySQL and capable of being logged in to with the 1.16.5.0 client. That said, the developers are running into some bugs related to MySQL, though that’s also helping the main project out, as one might expect.

Does this mean the game is playable? No,according to the project’s about page, as there is no publicly available server that fans can hop in to. Still, the Rasa.Net emulatoris open source, so those with the know-how are encouraged to download it, run it locally, and file any bug reports that will help the project. So while it’s not a revived project in full, it is clearly making some strides.
