During our latest podcast, MOP’s Bree wondered aloud whatAion 2 would be doing to support any Australian players who would want to hop in during its global launch, particularly sinceits initial announcement didn’t include any Oceania servers among its list. That prompted us to ask NCsoft about the matter, and as that headline notes, we’ve got some perhaps unfortunate news for our friends in the upside-down.
The studio reaffirms that the global version will support servers in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan, and that it will continue to support builds in Korea and Taiwan as one would expect. So where does this leave our Aussie friends? “The Taiwanese version supports English,” the studio confirms. If you happen to live in that part of the globe and were curious, now you know. Here’s hoping that it’s not too laggy when the MMORPG launches October 5th.
