Just in case that headline didn’t clue you in, this week’sBlack Desert news is almost entirely full of goodies for the PC version of the sandbox. Sure, there’s a little bit out of the mobile version as well, butthe most recent patch on PC has quite a bit more going on comparatively speaking.
Some of the major arrivals are related to new things related to the game’s Great Ocean and sailing gameplay. Players can check out the new Cheonsa Island in the ocean of the Land of the Morning Light, take on new sea monsters in the Lyngbakr’s Habitat in the sea, install new yellow-grade ship parts, and craft new consumables that ramp up sailing-related XP. There’s also ahot time event for sailing and bartering happening between now and September 10th.
The other big addition to the PC version is a fresh regular guild season running between now and October 8th, which brings on some new rule changes, a new rotation of four battlefields, updated rewards for both guild members and the guilds themselves, depending on participation, victory, and guild ranking when the season wraps up.
The patch otherwise brings another suite of PvE-focused balance changes, with a particular focus on the Wukong and the Seraph; updates to content matchmaking; changes for monsters and monster zones; longer durations for several buff-granting drinks; and some fixes for quests and the UI.
As forBlack Desert Mobile, this week has class updates of its own, some more item streamlining that replaces several condensed dark energy items, and some refinements to how skill branches are applied. It’s not a doorbuster of an update, but it is something that fans of the mobile MMORPG may want to make note of.
