Pantheons latest test server patch fixes bugs and expands mastery options for several classes

rise of the purple

Are you eager for a new patch forPantheon? Well, not really a new patch for the core early access game; this week’s update is once again another patch for the test server, which will once again see players testing its combat from levels 1-50, especially when it comes to the mastery options for Warrior, Dire Lord, Shaman, Cleric, Wizard, Enchanter, Druid, and Paladin. And this patch is about lots of fixes and enabling. For example, Clerics now have Doctrinal Focus and Dawncaller masteries enabled, Arc of Light should no longer be bouncing to inappropriate targets, Bolster should now correctly reduce damage taken instead of increasing it… you know, pretty important and foundational stuff.

The patch does contain some other modifications; items can now have Healing Spell Power to just improve the power of healing spells, and you can now search for any Mastery node by typing a partial name in the search box in the Mastery window. But for the most part, this is a patch devoted to things like fixing bad scaling on the Wizard Mastery UI window or the fact that Chronoburn for Shaman previously did not last for its listed duration. Good fixes, but perhaps a bit on the functional side (not to mention supposed to have rolled out last spring with the long-delayed combat overhaul).
